There's no such thing as having too much ammo, unless you're on fire or trying to swim!

Yeah there's all kind of targets available. As for myself, I go to Wallyworld and get those orange sticky circles that come in several diameters. I take some computer paper and staple a piece up and put a sticky In the middle. I find this ideal for shooting groups and working up loads. And it's pretty cheap too. I'm not into glamour or anything else. I want rifle performance and with the small target of the orange circle, it teaches me to shoot the tightest groups I'm capable of. That's not as good as it once was, but it's still MOD (minute of deer).
    Daddy, what's an enabler?
Son that's somebody with nothing to do with his time but keep me in trouble with mom.

Cool tgts are cool, I'm not sure they aide in maintaining shooting skills.

A 8x11 inch blank piece of paper may be all one needs until they can shoot
good groups so they are not distracted by the tgt and pay proper attention
on shooting form and sight alignment.

While the generic bulls-eye type is probably the best for pure accuracy and technique, and will tell you a lot about how you're shooting, they do get dull after a bit.

Using one of the "Shoot-n-See" type of target is a good step up - still generally a traditional bulls-eye but it's a florescent undercoat color covered by a black surface that flakes away around a bullet strike. Makes it easier to see the bullet hole from a distance, and for a novice seeing those bullet holes from a reasonable range as they happen is a hoot. The danger here, accuracy-wise, is once you land a bullet, some tend to shoot for that bullet hole to try for "maximum accuracy", it takes a bit of discipline to maintain the same sight picture which is the only way to be sure of the sight alignment and adjustment.

Past this, take your pick! Over-ripe produce (home-grown or supermarket), clay shotgun targets, jugs of various sizes filled with water (food coloring optional for a bit more fun! - Just clean up the non-biodegradable debris afterward...) or other "plinking" targets all have a great appeal for the fun factor.

On-line resources like those above will either allow you to print your own, or give sources to order just about anything you'd like. If you're artistic, and have butcher paper, paper grocery sacks, posterboard, or other large paper goods, then the possibilities are endless!!!

Where are you shooting? Will your range allow reactive targets?

Nothing is cooler than tannerite.... Just make sure it is allowed where you are shooting....
