I just received this nice pouch-holster in the mail today.

A few days ago I ordered a "Sneaky Pete" belt holster. It arrived in todays mail, and I thought I would post these pics of it to see if any of you have used this holster before, and what you thought of it. It looks pretty good, sort of like a phone or computer tablet holster, but it is designed to hold your favorite compact handgun like a .380 or 9mm compact. There are many versions of this to fit your specific handgun. The case seems to be fairly sturdy and can be worn with either dress or casual clothing and comes with either belt loops or metal clips to allow immediate withdrawal of the holster from your belt. The top flap has strong magnets which hold the flap closed until you need to pull the gun out of it's holster. Very convenient, I think. I like the design, so I'll be wearing this from now on, instead of the shapeless black canvas bag I had been wearing. I also bought the case for an extra magazine which you have to put in your pocket rather than on the belt like a holster. Only the model for the .380 has a belt clip. What's nice about the design is it's made such that you can't grab the trigger while pulling the gun out of it's case. A good safety feature in my opinion.

LOL...Exactly what my canvas bag holster looks like, and why I opted for this when I saw it in the June issue of American Rifleman. The sides are formed and reinforced to keep it's rigidity.

Ned, what brand is that you use for your 29 in what I'll call a front cross draw?
See above comment.
Hahah I read the comment right after I port it lol
Totally unrelated, but how is your rehab going with the knees?

I think you will like this holster. Thanks for asking....Regarding rehab, I am officially off the personalized physical therapy, but on my own I'm doing what's called a "wellness program." Basically it is the same as P.T. but it's self directed unless I need guidance from the therapist on how to use the equipment. I use their facility like a gym for $30.00 per month. I am making good progress, but it is slow. I can walk fairly normally, but it is still painful in my knees to get up or down in a chair or sofa or other low spot.
Maybe next spring you can get up this way and 'ride the dragon'; they should have all the rework from the slides done by then.
I think I'll like the holster. There are times when I just don't want to wear a regular holster and cover it with a shirt. And I HATE those IWB types.

Yeah, I understand it will take some time to heal completely. It's always the same old story though, it never happens fast enough.
I'm going to be in Maggie Valley, NC in a few weeks for a motorcycle rally there and I'm hoping most of the roads which have been designated for organized rides have been repaired or undamaged by flooding. I understand a couple of those mountain roads were washed out by heavy rains. I was on the Dragon last August and loved it, along with some real nerve wracking other roads that had steep inclines up the sides of mountains with blind-hairpin turns in them...whew, what an adrenaline rush! My hands were sweating all the way up, and I had to keep wiping my throttle hand on my pants to keep it from slipping off the grip.

I heard of one washout in the Smokies that might affect our rides up there. I think it was either 441 or 128, but not sure. I'm hoping for drier weather too. I've been looking forward to this trip for 6 months.
.380 bersa version.
