A Pair Of 17's

Not to often do I run into something I can't walk away from. A guy from work was telling me his neighbor needed some cash and had a few revolvers he was wanting to unload. I about had to unload my pants when I saw them! :yikes:

Couldn't walk away from these beauties, I feel a little bad, as I STOLE them.

$600 for the pair, 17-3 and 17-6. I haven't seen a decent one in these parts for a long time and to run across two in one outing, I tried (and succeeded) holding in my excitement.

I have a 17-3 from the early 70s and a K-22 Combat Masterpiece from 1957. As much as I love the older K-22, I've grown extremely fond of my 17-3.

The full-underlug was made alongside the stainless 617 with the full underlug, but not for very long, if memory serves. The 6" barrel classic style brings tears to the eyes. Beautiful score!
