BAR 7mm is almost Ready and.......photo practice!

Used my friends camera tonight to take a few pics. The BAR 7mm Mag got a Nikon Monarch 2.5-10 with Talley lightweights, I have taller rings coming, its a little tight now. Also added a Browning branded leather sling. I'm going to try and blood this one this fall on a Black Bear.



On another note, Armslist is a beautiful thing. I have been a busy man.

I found something for that Redfield Counterstrike to go on. Ruger SR556, I got it from a cop...for a steal. Added a VLTOR E-mod and a Magpul AFG...I need to get some range time in...Glock 17 Gen 4 is newer, you can't see it but i just put a Wolff stainless steel guide rod in it and went a little mall ninja on a Punisher Skull slide plate and 2 mag bases...

Nice guns. My father used to have a BAR in .300 Winchester. He shot his first elk and muley with. Unfortunately, it was stollen years ago.

BTW the Counterstrike is on its way out the door. Or onto my Mini-14 because it will work with the Scout Rail. The integrated laser hits EVERY AR front sight, even if they are folded down...what is the point of advertising a sight as "Tactical" if it isn't compatible with a basic AR?

I really like my 7 mm BAR it is the safari grade and was made in Belgium I got it in 1992 used. It came with a leiuopold vIII had only been fired three times came with five boxes of Remington core-looks in165gr. It was stolen once and I got it back.

Yeah, I put one on my others. Spaced it on that one, my frustrations with the sight have taken all my effort on that rifle, it was kind of a spur of the moment purchase...
