    What a load of hooey! If a bear starts moving toward you, lock and load. If it charges, terminate it with extreme prejudice. It's a wild animal and does not know how to act in polite society.

    Ditto on the hooey......all this "playing dead" and being defensive tactics come back to "when all else fails......attack back!" The best defense is a violent offense. I especially got a chuckle about "speak in a firm voice"......it reminds me of Demolition Man....."repeat order in a firm voice and add the words....."or else".......:rotflmao:

    This is what gets me about divers attacked by sea life.......rant from the D-channel show 'bout giant squid.......where was your dive knife!? Dropped the light!? From what I was taught about about scuba diving.......everything piece of kit is dummy-corded to your body......and you carry a BFKnife!
