Anyone in the El Paso area? Flying in there next week en-route to Carlsbad, NM to visit my dad. Getting in early afternoon so could meet for lunch if anyone is around.

I am in the area. If it's going to be daytime lunch passthrough kind of thing, it'll be hit or miss for me. I'll more than likely be in Las Cruces. If you're going through Las Cruces around lunch time, we might be able to make it happen. I just won't know very much in advance. Just the nature of my job.... Would be cool if it works out. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you want and we can stay in touch from there.

Definitely make a point to meet Jay if possible. He's good folks! He stored my nephew's pickup for me for a while until I could fly out to El P. and drive it back to Tennessee. He knows where to find some really good Tex-Mex food, too!

Jay, I think my flight gets in around 2pm, renting a car and then it looks like hwy 180 all the way to Carlsbad. Does that put me anywhere you might be?

I pretty well figured that would be the case; you taking 62/180 East. That's going the opposite direction from where I'll be. It looks like I'll probably be working at that time and will be on the other side of the mountain and well to the North of you. But I'll keep you in mind and see what happens between now and then. If something changes and I can get over your way, I will do it. What day is it that you're coming in?
