We're back home, just arrived after an all-day drive. The final two tests on Tuesday were pretty routine- - - -nothing dramatic to discover, thankfully! Now it's up to the docs at Mayo and our local providers to come up with a treatment strategy. We're very impressed with the people down there- - - -very thorough and they're definitely at the top of their profession!
After I get a few hours of sleep, I'll be back on the road again, headed for Parris Island to watch our grandson, Robert, graduate from Marine boot camp. Some of you who have watched him grow through several Southeast Shoots know that he probably aced the marksmanship part of the training! We're pretty proud of him!

Jerry, great news! I'm sure that the Mayo physicians will work out anything that needs to be addressed! I'm thankful that Mary checked out OK!
And, to be honest about it, I'm very pleased in a quiet sort of way, that I may have had a small part in your Grandson's marksmanship training by introducing the two of you to the York Shoot and trading off to you the chunkgun which, I'm sure, has helped, aided and assisted the Boy in becoming a top-notch marksman! Please, as we have discussed, talk to the Boy about not taking unnecessary chances when he finds himself in a combat situation. Tell him that I said SEMPER FI! (and remind him that he needs to remember that the CORPS is a "projectile fired by the Navy"!) :tooth:
Biopsy results are in, no cancer in stomach or colon. They did not find the exact cause of the pain but they did find a few things others missed. So glad we went and I want to thank each and every one of you for your support thru this little bump in our road. You're the tops in our book, always have been & always will be!

Every Marine a rifleman! I'll bet that young feller did good on all of it!

As to the Grandson, Semper Fi.
Although the Marine Corps is part of the dept of the Navy, its the mens dept. The lesser branches always try to equate.
