Well, she's awfully cute, actually, and can absolutely be sexy at times. But being not-so-bright or not-well-managed, and trying to out-gaga Lady GaGa (which she can't do), she went way overboard and ended up looking goofy instead of sexy. If she'd toned it down a bit she would have succeeded in being a lot more sexy, I think.

But I also think she's destined for rehab or a sad, fast end if she doesn't get control or someone doesn't step in.

Most hilarious about the incident was the Will Smith family in the audience, open-mouthed.

I had said something like that to Clean and she said it was trying to get away from the " Hanna Montana" image. She's already done that;
I think it is the Lady Gagga issue, also.

I took her songs off my girls iPods. I know it was all for show, but I don't need my 5&7 year olds seeing that.
So I took the songs and video of her performance and put it on the wife's iPod. Hehe.

Going back in my limited history, Cher started it, Madonna took it further, Lady GaGa expanded it, and Lil' Miley is just carrying it on for the next generation. She can't sing worth spit, so she throws in some skimpy outfits and stupid behavior to keep your mind off of how bad she sings. And, let's face facts, guys of about any age are easily distracted. :tooth:

Thing is, if you've ever seen Lady GaGa on a guest TV show, you'd be quite surprised -- she's very bright and funny, intentionally -- she had Letterman tied up in knots and it wasn't all scripted. Realize that she also designs all of her own goofy costumes and is a solid contributor to her theatrical antics. In other words, she's absolutely aware of the showbiz aspects and it's all deliberate, to make lotsa money. And she seems to have fun with it, too.

Miley has gotten in too deep, over her head, no way she can match the GaGa show.

I honestly don't know whether she's gotten into drugs yet and if not, she may eventually grow out of her stupid phase and become a good entertainer -- she's an okay pop singer after all and is decently musically talented. So she's got a genuine future if she wants it.

From the excerpts of her performance I've seen on the news, she reminds me of some pre-teen girls who borrow mom's makeup and try to look sexy and end up just looking like clowns. Miley is in truth a beautiful young woman and she can certainly be "sexy" if properly managed. Right now, I'd guess not.

Actually, the activities of some celebrities real piss me off.

On the one hand they use their status to try and influence the public on things like gun control etc then they go and corrupt other members of the public by doing outlandish things.....which can influence the younger generation........................Talk about ethics..............

Lady Ga Ga is also one of the few performers who writes her own music. Make no mistake, she is bright and knows exactly what she is doing.

Nothing Miley Cyrus has ever done, is now doing, or ever will do, could possibly be of interest to me. As long as the SyFy channel keeps making monster movies, I have no need or use for any celebrities.
