Social Distortion - Anybody else listen to them?

They've (Lead Singer/Guitar - Ness) been around since 1978 and done punk, rock, and cowpunk with a kind of cool sound. They have a throwback sound that I like and prefer his more recent stuff. Seems after all the hard roads, he has settled down and acquired a sincere voice. I enjoy the ruggedness of his songs/voice now.

I really like his new sound. The worn raspiness of his voice, though imperfect, has feeling.

Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell goes on all roadtrips, their rendition of "Ring of Fire" is a favorite, I saw them live at First Avenue in Minneapolis in the mid-90's, they put on an excellent show.
