UN arms treaty & US weapons stolen in Libya.

You just can't make this stuff up.

John Kerry:
This is about keeping weapons out of the hands of terrorists and rogue actors. This is about reducing the risk of international transfers of conventional arms that will be used to carry out the world's worst crimes. This is about keeping Americans safe and keeping America strong,

"Along with the GMV's, hundreds of weapons are now missing, including roughly 100 Glock pistols and more than 100 M4 rifles. More disturbing, according to the sources, is that it seems almost every set of night-vision goggles has also been taken. This is advanced technology that gives very few war fighters an advantage on the battlefield."

It's even worse than that! The terrorists our troops are fighting in the Stan, and fought in Iraq and other places, are being armed by the CIA who are funneling weapons to them through Turkey! Our government arming our enemies seems a bit traitorous to me.

The CIA has begun delivering weapons to rebels in Syria, ending months of delay in lethal aid that had been promised by the Obama administration, according to U.S. officials and Syrian figures. The shipments began streaming into the country over the past two weeks, along with separate deliveries by the State Department of vehicles and other gear — a flow of material that marks a major escalation of the U.S. role in Syria’s civil war.

The arms shipments, which are limited to light weapons and other munitions that can be tracked, began arriving in Syria at a moment of heightened tensions over threats by President Obama to order missile strikes to punish the regime of Bashar al-Assad for his alleged use of chemical weapons in a deadly attack near Damascus last month.

The arms are being delivered as the United States is also shipping new types of nonlethal gear to rebels. That aid includes vehicles, sophisticated communications equipment and advanced combat medical kits.

If it isn't obvious to everyone, President Obama has clearly switched sides in the war on terror. Behind the incredibly lame and silly excuse of Assad's use of chemical weapons against jihadist terrorists, Obama's new policy is to arm Al Qaeda with the best and most advanced infantry arms and accessories we have. Notice also how we haven't heard of any more drone strikes in Yemen lately? Oh, I'm sure a rare token strike will take place, just to keep up appearances, or when the Al Qaeda leadership wants someone purged, Obama will be their faithful executioner.

But just to remind Obama that the real world is run by adults, and not by day-dreaming, childish, academic ideologues, Al Qaeda's proxies in Al Shabaab destroyed the mall in Nairobi and killed lots and lots of people. Al Shabaab was careful to deploy several American and British terrorists in the attacking force - a clear warning that Al Qaeda has already infiltrated the homeland, and what happened there can happen here if Obama tries to change sides again.

Has anyone not seen this coming? And we have absolutely no real leadership for our country...sad, indeed.
