Breaking Bad Ends Well
I thought Walt might put the Ricin in Lydia's Stevia, but it was crafty the way it went down. The M60 taking out the Neo-Nazis was a great writing concept, but would be hard to put into practical use. All in all, the final episode really tied up a bunch of loose ends and left me, as a long time viewer, very satisfied. The trust fund was a good touch as well.

The last scene with "Uncle Jack" actually brought forth a small cheer. :tooth:

Seriously? You opened a thread called the end of breaking bad and you expected a spoiler alert?
Here's a tip. The thread title said the end of breaking bad. ???
You've had actual conversations before, verdad?
How to avoid spoilers: Don't open threads dealing with the movie or TV show or whatever. It's a bit disingenuous to expect everyone else to avoid discussing the subject of the thread until they get clearance. How do you plan for others to know it's safe to proceed, anyway? Should everyone in the forum PM everyone else, asking permission? Should all threads bear warnings about spoilers, "Here be spoilers" like old seamaps? Just don't open the thread. Easy.

Now I'm waiting for the complete box set which should be out shortly, I've missed a lot of episodes over the last few years.
That was one of the episodes that you missed......Brock was actually poisoned with the flowers from a Lily of the Valley, and didn't die.
and the ricin was also a great touch.
Overall, a first rate ending to a fun show.
In Citizen Kane, "Rosebud" is the name of the sled that Kane had as a small child.
In Maltese Falcon, the statue is a fake.
In Hamlet, King Claudius murdered his older brother King Hamlet to grab the throne and the wife.
and I'm not sorry one bit for spoiling it for you guys! heh heh
Stevia is an extract, not a brand name, so no company was harmed.

Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.... now who's bringing the hot wings? :jester:
I think that was sort of the point in the final scene. He WAS with/in the relationship he held most dear, that being the lab that he built. He died surrounded by his most cherished loved ones.
Tell you what, I have not seen a single episode of "The Walking Dead" and AMC is running a marathon I have already set the DVR to record, as punishment ruin it for me.

The real punishment will be to watch the show...

What was it about "ends well" that wasn't understood?
But you miss the point... Let's imagine this scenario... jgunpilot wants to start a thread about the finale of Breaking Bad. But we all fear that those who aren't cognizant of "ends well" might mistakenly click on the thread and see spoilers. Okay, we'll assume this...
Now, at what point would it be OKAY to start talking w. spoilers in that "ends well" thread? And how would others know that it was now "clear"? If Bruchi has now seen the show but maybe, oh, knite hadn't, should we all wait for a thread or PM from him as the go-ahead? What about all the other members? Do we need to keep a checklist of those who haven't yet send a "Okay!" PM?
Or would it be easier for those who haven't seen the episode to just not click on the thread? Or they could each start a separate non-spoiler thread about the final episode, talking about what might happen but not saying what did?

"Rosebud" was his sled.
Thanks:tooth:.
