Anyone having problems with Embarq DSL service?

My DSL feed has been crap since yesterday morning. Pages don't load completely or not at all and getting "service unavailable" messages. I called their tech-support number and got a recorded message saying the problem has been identified and service will be restored at 2pm today. It's better, but nowhere near the speed and functionality it was.

I did make one mistake about the name of the company, and I'm assuming that was the reason for no replies on this thread. I called them Embarq service, when it should have been Century Link. It was originally Sprint, then became Embarq. That was the old name and I didn't realize it until I took a look at the bill for a number to call them about the problem.
I now realize that I'm addicted to and dependent on the internet for a variety of reasons and how it REALLY sucks to be without it. Anyone else feel that way about the internet?
