Thanks all - man it was just one of those blessed days that are rare indeed. You can go all year and not get one with your bow, this is a day none of us will ever forget. This is what its all about right here, one happy family indeed!
Congratulations just doesn't seem to cut the mustard for the three of you. You did a damn fine job raising those kids.........and the results speak for themselves. In my book, your mancard is full and will remain that way for a very very long time.
Still enjoying the trip of a lifetime and making the best of what I have.....
My Son and I shoot PSE, I have the AXE II and my son shoots Bow Madness, my daughter shoots a Browning Micro. The buck was a 15 yard broadside shot, he made an excellent double lung shot, it ran 30 yards and expired within site of his stand. The button buck on the right was a 10 yard shot, but only penetrated one lung, exit wound was hanging out the bottom of the back of the gut, I can see my daughter in her stand from where my stand it, and luckily it ran right past me and expired in the creek bottom within site of me, probably ran a total of 75 yards or so. The doe was a high double lung shot, 40 yards and dropped. No tracking, like I said it was just one of those mornings that just don't happen very often!
