Fox Jack Decoy Test
Last year I used my X-mas $$ on a Foxpro caller and have really liked it. Last week I ordered the fox jack decoy that attaches directly to the caller and ads realism to the set. Tonight I had about 20 minutes shooting light after work so I went in our pasture , sat down right at sundown (and very overcast tonight) and started calling. Two minutes into calling the songdog came rolling into my zone, circling down wind he paused, locked in on the decoy and I shot him at about 50 yards. 55 gr ballistic tip hit him right behind the right leg and he spun twice and ran about 40 yards lights out. Nice fur, I will skin him tomorrow. Rifle used tonight was savage model 200 .223. When I shot he was truly focused on the whirling decoy so I am happy with the purchase, my only concern is battery drain since the caller and the decoy run on the same batteries. Will have to see how long in several call sets the batteries will hold up.

Ditto but Jeff, we have got to get you set up for pics. Perhaps the mods could check the no pic fine account to see if they could help. I think it would be a righteous use of those otherwise superfluous funds.
The caller itself uses four double a batteries, and I do use rechargeable ones .

When we come out in June I will see if I can help you with that.
