Minn. police associations sue NFL over stadium gun ban

I think off-duty cops should be allowed to carry at NFL games and so should anyone else with a CCW. Sorry their butts ain't more precious than mine or yours. I see their point, but what's good fer the goose should be good fer the gander too!

"Two Minnesota police organizations have sued the National Football League, claiming that a policy prohibiting guns in football stadiums violates a state law by infringing on the right of off-duty cops to carry weapons."

I'm pretty sure they can't carry on a commercial airline flight either. Even if it's within their jurisdiction. Are they going to sue the TSA?

Convert stadiums to smallbore ranges.
Guns in stadium - no longer a problem.

They will give you a light pat down going through the turnstiles at the "Dome" or the Excel Center.
Many times local LEOs can walk up to security at a game with valid LE creds. etc... and starts asking if they have seen such and such a perp and they will be asked in.
