Politician's privilege or prudent action? DHS does evictions now?

I'd like to see more information on this for clarification, but I'm not seeing a correlation between the Feds and their "authority" to do, well, anything.
Is it a federal matter since it involved the real property of an elected official or was there suspected foul play involving federal "jurisdiction"?
If it's none of the above, then why didn't the Sheriff's office perform the eviction since said eviction would have been signed by a local circuit judge (which grants NO jurisdiction to the feds)?
Furthermore, if the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation is a crock in and of itself...it's unnecessary.
They really can go wherever they want with impunity!
