That was funny.
How about an AR pistol with a holster like Han Solo had when he blasted the creepy Guido ?
I think it is a draw

You are discussing this with a man who's answer to EVERYTHING is .45acp, 1911, Glock and 30-06. His toolbox probably has a hammer, a crescent wrench and two screwdrivers in it... :tooth:

I find "round" to be an acceptable shape for a wheel - but you can keep working on it if you want to.
This is an honest question, because I don't know. So, somebody set me straight.
An AR pistol is a pistol in design and clasification. But, does that mean it is illegal to place the buffer spring tube against your shoulder and fire it? Without rifle stock, mind you. Just the tube.
I don't see why that would be an issue as long as the buffer tube is "pistol length" I believe they are different. I have owned a couple AR handguns and my brother has the Keltec PRL-16, that one has issues, seems it needs to be cleaned too often,
You don't want to put that buffer on your shoulder as a "make-do" stock IMO the sights are going to be way to close to be usable.
What my brother and I do is put a sling on it and adjust it so it rests at the best distance to make good use of the sights and you pull forward on the sling while shooting, it makes a world of improvement that way specially with a full 30 round magazine.
Anyway the ones I've had where quite accurate and easy to shoot, just grabbing the thing as one grabs a handgun with 2 hands it shoot pretty damned well, talking about less than 3" groups at 25 yards offhand and one ragged hole at 10 yards with a very basic red dot, to me those are the distances that weapon is meant to be used at in real world scenarios, it is not a rifle.
If this post is non welcomed, I can always give you a recipe for making "tostones".

:win: You win a Cuban cigar, best answer yet.
The ranges those things are likely to be used is 10 - 20 meters at most....If that....

Yes, sing parts breaker !!! parts breaker, to the tune of Pat Benetar singing heart breaker as you pay loads of hard-earned for new front end parts, tires, alignments and more at the pumps.

The 7" barrel has a shorter tube. The 10.5" barrel, I believe has the normal length buffer tube. I could be wrong. But the one I'm looking at is the 10.5" with the longer tube.

That's why I will be going with a scout rail if I use the quad rail forend I have. So I can mount the Micro farther forward and get a good sight picture. Or the VLTOR-CASV. Which is a freee float forend with a rail that runs from the front to just shy charging handle. With either one, I will be able to push the Micro out forward.

I'll try that. But that is not my main plan with this gun.

Yes, this will be a closer end affair. But I still run my 10.5" HK 416 out to 300 yards with absolutely NO problem.

Speaking of Han Solo, have you seen my drop-down rig?
