"God wont give to you, what he won't get through you." Basically meant that the more you pass along to make others happy, the more God will bless you with!!! You are walking proof brother Weatherby

Enzo There are none more giving than you.
I just look at it as a ripple back from others when/if I do something

My very first handgun was a High Standard Supermatic......arguably one of the finest .22 auto pistols ever made

I agree Scott.......Love the looks of them too.
The first handgun I ever fired was my uncles sport king it resides at my house now.
I had actually just been at the range with it that day prior to picking these up.
When I was a kid-adulthood a Victor had been on my list took 25 years but finally everything fell in place to get one.

Well the original magazines are pretty hard to find and pricey.

I had to look under the foam for these.

I didn't mind that a few were for a Victor

The day you bought it, the wind here was blowing 30 MPH with gusts to almost 50. From the south west. Changed to the west. You live east of me. Not hard to see why, there was a major vacuum being pulled on the east coast. Technically the wind wasn't blowing, it was being SUCKED across the USA.

Yes I really, really, really, sucked on these and know it.....The walls in the gun store started to buckle.

He told me 500. for both and the walls caved in :yikes:

    Going to confessional this week?
Looks like you made a great snag!

I skipped confessional and did some function testing on both guns today with the recipient of one.
Mine turned out to be the target sighted one.Hers the ported barrel one.

They both ran flawlessly and from a previous shooter who had them dialed in perfectly.

Another great score. I've never owned a High Standard, but that's just because I've never found the right condition/price at the same time.
You have the right to your own opinion, but you don't have the right to your own facts:guns:

It is getting harder to find them fitting that criteria.
When you do...they are enjoyable old .22's

Durwood it's a ploy on my part to divert you away from my S&W's
