Yesterdays gun show

While I went to the show to buy my CW45 I looked around at prices on ammo and reloading supplies, guy that had the first table as you walked in wanted $45 for winchester primers but as you got inside farther they were $30 to $34.

Ammo prices on the most part were high with a few that were within reason.

Powder and bullets showed the most consistent pricing maybe just a little high but not terrible.

I would say that at least around here we may be turning the corner.

I have been seeing more powder and some hard to find bullets starting to show up but we are a long way from the end of the road. I think the hoarders are backing off but there are so many new shooters it is keeping the ammo supplies dried up. AR's seem to make up about 35-40% of the rifles at the range when I go out and they are steadily busting ammo.

We have a show in town in a couple weeks, be interesting to see how things are listed.

The one thing I was looking for was .444 marlin brass and there was non to be found but just about everything else in ammo from military to hunting rounds. One guy even had obsolete cartridges brass and bullets.
There was some 22 ammo but I did not look to see what the price was.
