New GP 100....experience

Came across one of the new GP 100s at the sports range. All I can say is "Nice...Really Nice".

I like everything about the new one. From the fact they included "man" size grips so you don't have to buy replacement Hogue grips the same day you buy the pistol. The thumb indention behind the wheel. And somehow they changed the natural point of aim....or maybe it is me that changed. But, when I snapped out, the pistol already seemed to be on target. My old GP was close, but it was not as on as this one. I wish I could tell you the grain I was shooting, they must not have been too heavy because the recoil was moderate.

To bad the guy wouldn't sell it.

Brand new here they cost $675. I think I will wait until I get to the lower 48. But I will get one.

Next to a S&W 686 or 27/28 a GP-100 is my second choice in .357 revolvers and I think you can never actually go wrong with one. Very rugged and reliable.

    Wow, Gold Rush prices!
