Within certifiably Western Civilization, for much of the last millennium, for whatever reasons, history has been relatively unkind towards Blacks and Jews. Everywhere, oppression, exploitation and persecution has been their fate. Now, finally, here in America they are accepted and free, and given equal opportunity to live out their lives. Yippeee. At least for now. But in the future...?
What I cannot understand, and what makes no sense to me whatsoever, is that most Jews and Blacks are not eager to be armed - either individually or collectively. Some Blacks have organized themselves into gangs - not so much for mutual protection but for criminality. Some Jews have joined JPFO, but their membership is small. American Jews have learned nothing from their Israeli brethren who are only comfortable being armed to the teeth. By and large, huge majorities of both groups vote to keep themselves disarmed and vulnerable to whatever predation the future may hold.

I do remember one funny incident from a few years ago. I was hanging out in the general area of the indoor range where I go shoot, chatting with a couple of LEO pals, and a middle-age black guy came out of the range area, smiling. He had a big stainless revolver and a silhouette target, which he proudly held up for us to see. The center area was totally chewed away, with very few misses around the periphery.
One of the cops said to him, "Great shooting! You need to hang that in your rec room."
To which the black guy replied, "Rec room, hell! I'll hang it on my front porch!"
Which explains perfectly the attitude of those few pro-gun blacks whom I've known, same as the pro-gun Jews I've met. They're almost militant in their fervor.
Why there aren't more, I really don't know -- it makes no logical sense.
Myself, as a descendant of Jews (my grandfather converted to Christianity), I've always felt a vivid connection with Jews and Israel, and have always been a strong supporter of Israel as well. I've never been there, but I understand that out front of the Shoah (Holocaust) museum in Tel Aviv, a sign proclaims "Never Again!"
And that would certainly be my motto were I black or a Jew. As to why more don't feel that way, a mystery. I can't speak from much personal experience, because most of my black or Jewish pals have been pro-gun, mostly because those who were anti were also too politically liberalized for me to have much in common with.

Also, there is a Jewish Gun Group and I think it's called Jews for Guns. These guys (And Gals) are not in the majority, but conservative American Jews are growing in number. Even some Hollywood type Jews are getting conservative. Remember Jackie Mason, the comedian? He's a staunch conservative and preaches it to as many people as he can. Look at Ed Koch, the former mayor of New York. He was a liberal Dummycrap, But he backed George W. for President in 2004 and I think McCain and Romney also. Conservatism is common sense and Jews are generally above average in intelligence. Before WWII Jews generally started turning liberal because so many socialist-communist were because of Hitler and the Third Reich and their Anti Semitist views. But I think Jews are beginning to move toward the middle as they see either extreme is not good. And, beginning in the 90s the Dummycraps began to try to abandon Israel. This is slowly waking American Jews up.

Notice the geographic concentrations. It's pretty evident that the majority of Jews are concentrated in more "urban" areas that tend to have a strong bias against 2A rights. IMO, at least in the United States, anti-gun isn't a "Jewish thing", it's simply a reflection of a few generations of anti-gun conditioning to which many otherwise levelheaded demographic groups have fallen victim.

You're correct that this was the first use of that slogan, which is of course famed in Jewish lore, but it was then applied to Shoah remembrances as well.

I failed history in the 5th and 6th form years at school and had to go back and repeat it.

You're both correct. Throughout time people have forgotten, or at least taken the attitude that it can't happen now, and repeated the mistakes of their ancestors or other civilizations before them.
Nowadays, those with definite agendas they feel are most important (And more often flawed) tend to change history to fit their needs.
So we're screwed either way.

That probably raised a few eyebrows. That was said to show exactly how Obama got elected. Not on merit, experience or candor but soley based on the color of his skin.
btw... I'll vote for whomever I believe fit as long as they believe in our Constitution regardless of race or religion.
Me too! in 2008 I was hoping to vote for a black man, but not Obama, Herman Cain. I feel he had some great ideas and every tax season I wish more and more that he or someone like him would have been elected. But he got railroaded by the same bunch of shameless jerks that tried to take down Clarence Thomas.

However, as for blacks and guns, one of the proponents of concealed carry here in Texas was a Democrat state representative from Houston. I am not sure now, it's been awhile, but I think his name was Ron Wilson. He was tired of innocent blacks being beat up and shot by druggies and scumbags in the hood. And there were more blacks like him pushing for the legislation.

I think Linefinder has it right, though. It's the concentration in NYC and LA of both moronic, I mean LIBERAL thought and Jewish population centers
