We leave for Seattle in the morning, will be going amtrak and arrive mid day on the 29th.
We have friends from California that will be meeting us there.
On the 31st we board the Norwegian Jewel for a 7 day cruise to Alaska.

I have wanted to do that for years but the wife doesn't, guess I need to take the girlfriend instead! Well first I guess I need to get a girlfriend but if I had one I probably couldn't afford to go on a cruise; hmmm what a quandary!
I guess I'll just have to live vicariously through you. I look forward to the range report when you get back. I'll be here waiting and thinking about how much you suck!

    Have fun!

We will take lots of pictures brought along two cameras just to be sure.
CHIRO1989 the actual trip wasn't bad after waiting six hours and hearing several excuses for why it took so long for the train to arrive.
Met some good people on the trip to Seattle.

Did you get a sleeper? How much beer does it take to get to Seattle:)

No we did not get the sleeper but would have been a good idea.
Sorry but I can't answer the second question for you I don't drink beer. There was a guy that was travailing on the train that drank a six pack and went for another before we were able to get on the train.

Eight years ago we took the cruise from Seward to Vancouver for 7 days 6 nights. Flew into Anchorage, toured two days, drove down to Seward and did the inside passage in July. Took a bus to Seattle, rented a car and did Seattle for three days, then flew home. A very fun trip.

Me and my wife took a Norwegian Alaska cruise 4 years ago for our 25th anniversary. Loved it!

A couple of patients have made the trip and said the sleeper is the way to go. Once the deck of cards got pulled out, so would the beer.
