To be fair, before going to Brazil, we knew they were a mediocre squad, not unexpectedly they surpassed our expectations. :roll:

Italy was in the same boat. They qualified for the cup, but they knew they didn't have the squad to make it out of group stage.
If it was not for Ghana being below form, playing the Portuguese on an off day, and playing our heart out in defense to Germany the US would not have made it.
I don't think we will go far. Allowing Portugal to score that late goal to tie was the telling mark of the American team.
