A New Concept In An Austrian Pistol

A totally new concept in semi auto pistols out of Austria. Sadly, not offered anymore except from the very few that want to sell their rare piece. A "Wolf Ultramatic" offered in a variety of calibers and mine is in 9mm. These had a LOT of problems when offered and VERY expensive. Meant to be fired dry except for the bolt and so complicated that without the instructions, (sometimes even with them) you would NEVER disassemble and re-assemble. There is an ongoing thread on Glocktalk about this pistol and the people that own them. I was LUCKY that after trying 6 or 8 different ammo brands in mine (or maybe it was that I ran enough ammo through it) it ran flawlessly with Winchester white box and Magtech! The manufacturer advises shooting at least 500 rds to break in. If you can find one, take a chance. You will be left in awe when you shoot it. (as long as it runs well)

Looks like a Race Gun sort of. I think it was a Styer GB model back in the 80s I was considering buying in Germany. 18 or 19 round capacity, but an atrocious trigger pull. There have been quite a few interesting 9mm pistols of European design, some like the Glock caught on and many did not.

18 round capacity is correct but I never heard about it wearing the Steyr brand. This one is the LV Competition. Although a number of variants were manufactured with and without compensator and in 40 caliber also.

Meh........and half a woof, they always miss the boat, make a pistol like that with a simple single action trigger, a really nice trigger, for C&L carry and then you might have something.

You have a simple design you can customize any way you like.

Down here, the only thing they are used for are squirrels. :roll2:
