4 pounds of H110 was delivered yesterday and I took my Leupold/Burris Signature ZEE rings off of my 284 Winchester XP-100, so now just waiting on my FR which should be here late next week:cool2:
For most of my uses I will be using a rifle scope, so it will work great. With a rifle scope, I will put the back ring on back rail, and move the scope as far backwards as possible.
Just like I do on my SP's.
With the 2-7 Burris LER it will be forward more likely. With my dot sight it won't matter.
I think it will be long enough.
With the custom barrel I would go with a full length cantilevered over the hammer rail just for versatility. I would have the lightening cut and irons incorporated like the S&W 22a. You could get a hammer extension like for scoped lever actions.

Good enough.

Since you went the full custom barrel route did you make it swappable? Tensioning helps with accuracy. I have everything to make a full length cantilevered mount for my Dan Wesson but can't bring myself to violate the beautiful mirror finish.

I understand that you have a task at hand, but for me.............that gun is too disproportional.
Concept, I like. Execution, not so much. Of THIS particular one. I did like the proportions of the shorter barreled builds and prefer the dimensions of a pistol scope to the revolvers size and like the vertical split rings more as well.
This is is my brain designing what I would prefer, of course.
