Seriously about the size, it definitely takes some getting used to. Pretty much requires 2 hands unlike the tiny previous Gen iPhones.

Also the S5 has a feature that shrinks the workable surface by about a quarter inch on the top and on one side, this allows you to use the phone one handed (in the settings, it's actually called One Handed Operation).

I'm not going to say a word. I don't know about Sprint but Verizon gives you 14 days to take it back no questions asked. They probably do the same.

After you pay a $35 restocking fee they will swap you phones with the first 4 days, assuming you bought it at a corporate store. Third party/premium retailers can have different rules which is why I avoid them unless they are the bigger chains like Best Buy as you can give them more grief.

If you are keeping the phone and need help, IM me and I will give you my number for help.

No, Verizon. I do this on daily basis. If you return it for the same phone, no charge, assuming it's not wet or shattered. Because there is no way the manufacturer can test that many phones before they go out to the stores.

Swapping it for a different model, you pay the restocking fee.

But that's Ok, I'd gladly pay $35 to get rid of any android phone and call it a good lesson learned :tooth:

Just like I'd get rid of an Apple to not have to deal with itunes and their overbearing hierarchy.

I have a 6 plus. I tried windows phones for years and just got increasingly frustrated. I finally got an iphone and haven't regretted it since. One of the features I like best is that it's finally got some screen size. But it still fits right in my front pocket.

We got our S6 display setup and I will say the quad HD screen on the Samsung makes the iPhone 6 and even the Note 3 1080p look like a joke. That thing has amazing color depth and clarity.

    I need a phone to:

    1. Make phone calls
    2. Receive phone calls

I do NOT need a phone to:

    1. Do ANYTHING on the internet. I refuse to squint at that tiny little screen and type on a tiny Smurf sized keyboard.
    2. Use as a GPS. I have a GPS that has adequate battery life and fits in my shirt pocket.
    3. I listen to music on a real stereo and watch TV/movies on a real TV. (Again, ain't squinting at a small screen or messing with those stupid ear buds.)

Those tiny 9" diagonal screens on computers sucked 40 years ago, and the smaller screens on phones suck harder now, even if they are in color, and I absolutely HATE how any brand tablet works. Tablets went out with cuneiform writing; talk about regressive! :roll2:

I'm now starting to consider a smart phone, for a few reasons...

    1. Weather radar. Kinda handy to have in my line of work, and my employer won't pay for a boat-mounted receiver or for me to have my own smart phone.
    2. Ability to listen to music. I don't mind earbuds, and sometimes it would be handy to have in the field as a distraction.
    3. Having the ability to do some calculations in the field would be handy, and allow me to know if I need to spend a half a day or full day out sampling in a standardized manner, or if I can bag it and go on to getting numbers and get done quicker.

Oddly enough, work's the driver for me getting one.

Your "phone" is so much more than a phone, that it combines a bunch of handy things into one package that works well.

    Example:

The IPhone 5s camera is wonderful if you use it correctly...

I took this a few days ago.

Both of my Net Techs (CWOs) got iPhones after the last Cyber security brief they went to....Don't know if it was coincidence or something else.
