To avoid the fine .....

So, I'm driving home and was thinking I need a foul weather gun. After some horse trading it followed me home. A 308wcf and my old weaver K-4 a match made in heaven! Looks like Ruger Americans are going around;-)
Aim higher, or get a bigger gun.

    That should be a just right handling rifle.

    Without going to details I traded for it......and got 80 bucks in ammo/bullets from a shotgun I paid $200 for. Not a bad deal.

    As much as I admire beautiful firearms I just can't bring myself to use them. Good score on a handy package.

    Believe it or not this will be my beater/ truck gun. I'm probably going to have it threaded so I can put a break on it, not for recoil but to protect the crown. Might get a set of iron sights too
