I'd rather have my sister work in a whorehouse than own another Taurus!
Lee will make special dies too, I believe. Call them.

Not going to call and ask for custom dies for a bit. The Black Ops Fund took a beating. It wasnt a rifle off the Maine or a USMC marked one so I didnt have to sell a kid. It is USN 1896 manufacture IAW the Winchester site. The bore is pretty good from what I can see, it needs some cleaning.
I have never actually seen one live much less got to play with the action.
This one is not immaculate, The forend bbl band was replaced at some point and it looks like someone rubbed it with tung oil at some point. IAW the last owner, anything done to it was done pre 1963.
It's boring, and your lack of creativity knows no bounds.
I don't think I've ever seen one complete, just one that was Bubba'ed beyond recognition! I think the .220 Swift is based on 6MM LN brass, maybe it can be turned back into 6MM brass!!??
GREAT find! Look's like I need to start beating the bush's again!!
6mm Lee was the parent of the 220 Swift, and I have read that you can neck Swifts up. They work, but the necks are real short. That will probably be the option I run with.

Whatever you do, don't make them from .30-40 Krag brass. Apparently they make guns go boom.

I was going to post that it was a old 243 Winchester.
$150, Wow pricy dies and a wait of a couple months. Try C&H?
