Stephanopoulos finally slipped.

FisheadgibFisheadgib Senior MemberPosts: 5,797 Senior Member
That weasel finally slipped up a little. He's about the furthest you could get from being an "unbiased reporter" but then it's common knowledge that ABC is about as far left as you can get. He kept his hands full spinning all the indescretions of the Clinton administration and I thought that he had almost distanced himself from that past.

He is a devout Clintonite, so it should not come as a big surprise, however being a news co-anchor he is supposed to try and be impartial HA HA HA............sure.............

Geraldo's donation was to a politician, Stephanopoulos' donation was not. Of course, if some of the 90% of the CF's money that goes to 'administrative costs' is then donated to the Hillary campaign, that's nobody's business, is it?

When younger people tell me how Biased FOX News is I want to go viral, viral hell, call it Ballistic!!! But I try to keep my head in a cool place and try with all that's within me to keep a cool tool and explain that for 50 years I had to watch NBC, CBS, ABC, and CNN dominate us and lie to us and be biased for the socialistic Democratic party. Anybody that didn't agree with them was tuned out and made to look stupid. So I don't give a rats ass what they say, I think FOX is a lot more fair and balanced than all these other commie mouth pieces put together.

Kind of related to this topic. Last night on the Science Channel there was a program on about the differences between the brains of Liberals and Conservatives, and boy, are they different. Conservatives use the analytical part of the brain to see the world, and Liberals use the 'touchy feely' part of the brain to see the world.

It was a "Through the Wormhole" episode. I can't find it on the Science Channel website. They may be all about science, but their website sucks!

Exactly. That's why I say that if our side wins the White House and holds both houses of Congress, we need to pressure whoever the winners are to take back our educational system if possible. If not, it may be our last chance at saving this place, as we know it and want it to be.

Nothing will come of this. Just like ever other liberal PO S

If you don't believe anything can come of this, why don't you pack up and go somewhere that fits your modus operandi? Because if we can't turn it around next time It's probably all over with. And there ain't nothing can turn it around other than a good ol' fashion revolution. And I don't know about the rest of you, but that's the last thing I want to see happen. But it may end up our last resort, because I don't want to live where this place is going.

    He's a news anchor.
That simply lied about where his donations went.
The worse thing that could happen is that he gets fired. (From ABC. Not the government)
Are you seriously that dense and knee jerk? Do you put ANY thought into your comments? Or are you blindly following anything that is anti "libtard"?

You had me at "Hello".

OK, Now I followed you, not sure where you were going, BUT! IF you think this is only about Stephanopoulos lying and getting caught you're not getting it, so who's dense? What I'm saying is, that NBC(Or was it ABC? See that's how often I watch him, like almost never) would never have looked twice if he hadn't gotten caught red handed with his sticky- icky fingers in the cookie jar, even if they actually knew about it. They don't care, the mainstream, lamestream, drive by media doesn't Care until they get caught. This country is in a world of hurt and this is only one symptom of its sickness! Those in power don't care unless they get caught. This is NOT a good thing.

Big hairy deal. Snuffleupagus was Bill Clinton's PRESS SECRETARY back in the day. He has ties to the Clintons? Ya' think?

No offense Mike, but not everything is a 'hair-on-fire, the world is ending' type of moment.

Nobody is surprised that Stephanopolous supports Clinton. Did he intentionally not reveal the fact that he gave money? Debatable, but the chances are pretty good. So what? At worst this is a technical violation. Since ABC is not likely to care that their ratings leader had a minor violation of their own rules, nothing is going to happen or, at most, a wrist slap. If they make him go stand in the corner for a while, would that make it all better?

Sure, Geraldo 'was fired for a $200 donation' by ABC...but did you read the article? He even said that the donation was merely an excuse, that he was actually fired for a blowup over a story, some sort of disagreement between him and management.

It's all a libtard plot to keep good conservative commentators off the air and skew how the news is reported! Libtards, commies, and Muslims are pushing their agenda on us in the schools and the media!

The libtards are coming! The libtards are coming!
    I'm just here for snark.

This very topic was discussed on Fox. Back when three main TV channels was it (ABC/NBC/CBS) they had their agendas too, not as blatantly biased as today, though. They were pushing their agenda even back then. The LBJ vs Goldwater campaign-election was cited. Printed media and some radio talk was your only other choice. Krauthammer (a smart sensible fellow in my opinion) said a group of doctors even published a report saying Barry Goldwater was certifiably insane and would surely lead us into a nuclear war if he was elected!

Today we have many more options for news like Fox and the Internet with may sites, from straight forward to gibberish to choose from.

I sincerely hope nobody uses this forum as their main source fer news......... much as I love it...like the old example of telling folks in a formation anything and to pass it along from the first person to the person standing next to them, by the time it got to the end it would be 180 degrees out from what the first person was told!

Actually they are for the most part or , at least, they show BOTH sides of the debate and have a discussion with guest, when they will appear, anyway. Mainstream media are way more biased and don't even bother giving much air time to anything that will put their favorites/liberals on the spot.

Far from perfect fer sure. Out of all of them on TV, Fox is my go to network. When gun grabbers can't spew lies without challenges and rioters start cussing them and Obammy cites them as being mean to poor folks, it makes me wanna watch them that more.

I have been trying CNN some again lately and well, same ole same ole. Sometimes they surprise me, though.

They welcome liberal guests, many refuse to come on and usually have Dem and Rep debating each other. Now if the Witch in a Pantsuit who has been invited would show up and answer some tough questions instead of hiding and dodging all reporters questions it would get lively, indeed.

The media is about money rather than any particular ideology. The red team profits from slandering the blue team and the blue team profits from slandering all the other teams. The various facets of the media have all found their spot at the money trough. Those donations aren't to save children, puppies, or the needy, but to have access to the Clintons. 25,000 a year is peanuts to Stephanopoulos or the Clintons but it buys access to the Clintons for interviews and stories. Kind of a retainer.

So can we expect Good Morning America and the Today show to really get tough on Hillary if she comes on and ask her really tough questions like does she enjoy being a grandmother or if elected, what will her decor choices be for the White House?

At least Fox would ask her about the Clinton Foundation and Benghazi.........................and what her accomplishments were as Sec of State!

How about keeping that horndog hubby of yours away from women who work and visit the WH....................

I don't understand why George Stephanopolous bothered to apologize for anything...being a Democrat means never having to say you're sorry.

I don't believe this for a New York Second. There was no Red Team until Fox, and I watched them, the blue boys and girls spew their Commie propaganda for at least 50 years and never heard a kind word about any Conservative or even a liberal leaning Republican. Fox was our savior. But FOX does give libs their say, which the big 4 never did for the conservatives.
