I guess these guys will never learn, this one didn't get far either but one person was killed.

    Sorry about the innocent person killed, but you do not work well trying to come up against Texas cops. Good riddance.

    The State Hospital is located in Austin, and the place has its share of Fruits and Nuts. It's had its share of shootings for a Southern City.

    Gotta admit our law enforcement is doing well, we have had 5 gunmen out for blood in the last few months and only one innocent killed. All gunmen were killed, IMHO the cops are doing a good job!

    Heard about that when I got home this morning. That is like 1-2 blocks from APD headquarters. Talk about picking a place that will have cops all over it in record time!

    As much as I talk bad about the APD brass (especially the chief), the rank and file are good guys, and great cops. Too bad they are lead by people that are hired by the aging hippies that run the city council.

    Texas cops do pretty well because they are allowed to engage, without having to call the attorney general to get permission. It's probably not the case everywhere, or in every instance, but they are definitely having a good run, lately.

    Sounds as if TX peace officers, as usual, are doing well. God Bless TX, wish I was back there. I grew up in Dallas, when Dad retired we moved to east TX. I never should have left. I still have a brother in Houston.

    Big state. We are the size of 4-5 states, with 3 of the top 10 sized cities in the US. That would be like comparing Texas to PA/NY/NJ/MA area.

    sounds good, except that TX is 26th in pop density. If you made one state from the ones you mentioned it would be about #4 and have the 5-6 of the top 10 cities.

    If you guys vote in a Democrat POTUS and allow Democrats 3-4 Scotus pics in 6 Years, CCW/CHL/CWP will be phased out completely by 2025 and in 15 deep blue States within four years.
