Pig hunt planning November 13, 14, 15- consider joining us!

I am attempting to plan my 2015 pig hunt.

This year I intend to hunt the weekend of Nov 13, 14 and 15. If you have an interest, let me know, as I am firming up plans now. Maximum 6 hunters per day. My fishing and hunting group will be going as well as any interested parties. More details to come.

We usually kill at least two if not more hogs per year during Deer Season. I also know where to go now to find more. But it's been raining so much this year I can't comfortably get where I want to go. The area I'm speaking of is outside the fence of where I hunt deer. It's next to a maise field along the fence. I think I could easily kill many more hogs here. If it ever stays dry enough long enough to get out there and pour some Hog Wild on the ground. I don't have a blind there, but at night I could sit in the car and use a spot light. What I'm saying is if I didn't have access to a place I would think very hard on taking you up on the offer. I like hog hunting as much as deer hunting.

I think the Miami Dade County Police would frown on me hunting in the city limits, so we go to Arcadia and hunt along the Peace river.

Sadly, I will be unable to join you this year. I do appreciate the invitation.

Remember do not take any strawberry jello mix or presweetened strawberry koolaid powder because if you accidentally spill it cause just about every pig around will be rooting.

It sounds like a good time Dan but that interferes with Michigan's opening day of deer which is pretty much a holiday up here. I hope you guys have a great time. As a side note-- get the guy that used your 45/70 last year to a range before he goes. Please!

A lot of truth to this, and in fact, many Hog Attractants, such as Hog Wild, have something similar in them. They smell like berries. Hogs love it. What I do is add it to my hog corn. Even corn with Diesel added to keep the coons off of it, if you add hog wild, strawberry-rasberry-cherry-whatever Jello will draw hogs and keep the coons at bay.
