Still no activity during the day, all I have seen is small bucks in daylight hours, but the clock is turning and Halloween / Chasing time will be here before you know it!!
They are changing their patterns though, and this guy just showed up out of nowhere in the last week, several nights in a row.

It's amazing when they will and will not be tolerating of human presence. On my way out to the coyote blind today, I walked up on a young doe. She just stared at me and I decided to see how close I can get. I got within spitting distance before she bolted into the hedge.
NO doubt about it, I had two young does get downwind of me tonight in the stand and they could smell me, but could not figure out where the heck I was. They actually got wind of me an got curious coming from 60 yards out to within 20 yards of my tree. In hindsight, I should have had my i-phone out, videoing instead of taking selfies to send my daughter. What a great autumn night to be 20 foot high in a tree. Life is good!
