I'm liking CPJ's magnet idea - cheap and easy. Storing them in the safe is becoming problematic - I'm running out of space and they don't absolutely need to be in there. Of course, none of youse-guys have an overflowing safe problem. :tooth:
Must be a smallish safe....I bought a 36 gun safe...and found out that, like tents, the capacity is largely exaggerated. Shoulda bought the 64 gun unit...I refuse to be limited by how many firearms I can store...

You could combine all the ideas here and come up with rare earth magnets holding up a home made bandoleer of ammo-cans and clear plastic shoeboxes from walmart.

That's an EXCELLENT idea! :roll2:

Looking for an "effective" way to store all my pistol magazines - various sized, brands, lengths, calibers, etc. Either a wall-mount thing or a storage box with dividers. See all kinds of overpriced stuff - what's cheap and works? I'm pushing quantity 20 right now...

Ended up buying a little plastic drawer thingie at Mall Wart today - has 6 drawers sized just right for holding mags.

And I got a $20 bill that says eventually we WILL see Zorbs all decked out on the POWM site.
It *has* occurred to me - but I haven't been in a Wall Mart "Bedecked in all my finery" (I like that!) - but I was seen in a CVS one time in my Gothic Brolita outfit. Took me half an hour to get out of there because I was being MOBBED by women! I had stopped in to pickup a birthday card.

Cool! That'll work great. Still ordering the other magnets. I like the idea of strategically placing a few of those smaller ones around my bench to hold parts and tools while I'm working on guns.
Bench?

Might make for some interesting gun hiding scenarios...
While I use the magnetic mounts and love them but these little boogers can really be flexible. The thought of using a north/south poled pair (8.7 lbs each for a little over 17 lb total hold) of the 3/4" rounds set right in a HD carbine or shotgun could make it hide about anywhere crossed my mind. Being able to lay out your own mounting jig would be nice.

I'm perfectly fine with the "booby prize" --- just make sure it is attached to a petite blonde (female).
