Little Mohamed was said to of had a plan to take weapons from responding police. One report said he had a Jar of Vaseline he planned to smear on the floor and cause police to slide down and take their guns. Here they say he thought one bullet would kill two people.

They don't think (so far) it was a Terrorist Act:

“There was nothing to indicate he was doing this because of Allah, or because he was going to be rewarded with 72 virgins, or because of ties to a terror group,” Warnke said. “He appeared to be a devout Muslim, on the strong side of the belief.”

Oh I see, just an ordinary Little Joe (Mohammad) Muslim..............who got mad about not being allowed in a study group/kicked out and decided to kill folks because things didn't go his way, how nice to know that.

Not sure about Merced's true political position but it seems to be one of the lesser liberal areas in CA. The community is not screaming that the LEOs should have used LTL force.

Also Little Mo proved never take a knife to a gun fight. I feel for the LEO who had to take Little Mo down but I applaud him and hopefully the department will be behind him and nobody will ever sent from DC to investigate.

I lived in Merced for several years in the late 1970's. Back then it was a very conservative (by Commiefornia standards) community in the middle of the San Joaquin valley agricultural belt. Good shooting, officers!

I have to disagree. He came appropriately outfitted for a stabbing/slashing party. Everybody else was WAY underdressed, until the police arrived. Hey, at least he didn't violate the 'gun free' zone ordinances...
