The trouble is, Trump can't tell legislators "You're Fired!"- - - - -That's our job, assuming there are enough of us left to give the career politicians their walking papers, or a long term lease on a small piece of real estate!

You're right he can't just say 'you're fired'. But as President he would have the ways and means to go to the media and let the rest of us know just exactly who wasn't doing their job in the Congress and Senate. Think what would happen if a popular potus used the media to his and the public's benefit to bring to light the stupidity and the foul ups going on in DC.
I think Trump has the 'nads to do just that!
If I don't answer the phone, I'm probably in the Senate taking a POTUS and wiping my Congress

Think what would happen when his popularity fades, which it will, as soon as the media starts doing hit pieces on him. Then we are left with a spoiled rich kid who gets his way by making mean-spirited attacks on anyone who tries to pin him down on his half-baked solutions. Sound familiar?
Hilary Clinton, with help from the moderators, will chew Trump up and spit him out. I can't say enough bad things about Hilary, but she is a gifted liar and an excellent debater. The opponents she fears are Rubio and Cruz, because they know, in detail, about every low trick she has ever attempted and they both have the guts to go after her. Cruz has argued legal cases before the Supreme Court seven times, successfully, and Rubio is an excellent debater. Both have been in 'knock-down drag-outs' on the Senate floor, and they know their material, as well as all the traps that will be set for them.
