General George S. Patton .......When a reporter asks him about his "pearl-handled revolvers", Patton quickly retorts "They're ivory. Only a pimp from a cheap New Orleans whorehouse would carry a pearl-handled pistol......"

Pearl grips look a wee bit different than ivory or bonded ivory.
Still, it was great fun while it lasted !

Todays imitation Ivory looks real enough to fool me, made of some urea formula, it looks and feels like real Ivory, even yellows and is heavy, a friend gave me a set of Dominoes made of that stuff, and I thought it was real Ivory.

All this HP stuff makes me sorry I sold mine. I'd look for some original Magna grips for it, and definitely keep the Tyler T grip...you can sell it for $40+ if you want to. Take the faux ivory groups to a distant National Forest, walk east for a mile and bury them at midnight.
Nice snag. Thou sucketh to the Nth degree.
Concealed carry is for protection, open carry is for attention.
Uniforming the cylinder throats is what made this possible. It was a 2" gun before. And would have one flyer out of that 2" group. Now the all shoot about the same.
