I trapped The Beast of Bladenboro
Or so it seemed
I caught a female squirrel that was about 1.5----2 years old ----in a live trap and tried to let it out of the trap into another one
for disposition purposes. It would not come out and wanted to fight.
I've never seen one that would at least not retreat to the other side.
I poked a big screwdriver in the trap and the Beast attacked it and held it's ground and said all manner of nasty things to me.
It would get near the door, but, stayed at the top.
It was a good thing I had a wire partition between the Beast and me!
It may have been the one that escaped earlier this fall.
I would hate to meet a 50 lbs version in the woods while alone and not armed with a Super Redhawk Alaskian!

Another time I caught a rat in a large snap rat trap, it only grabbed the rat by the end of its snout, at that point I was not sure what to do with it, then I remembered I had a Chinese air pistol and shot it in the head, twice, what a mess......
