I liked Google as a company, I think they are a great example of what hard work and a string of great ideas and good decisions will bring you.
That being said, with the control that they now exert over large swathes of what we see and do, they are becoming the evil empire, to an almost Orwellian extent.
I like YT, I like Google search, I hate monopolies, part from crappy search engines like yahoo, who else is there?, it's time Google got some competition.

The photo shows a Henry rifle and what could be a Colt 1860 Army revolver. Very scary assault weapons. I have not used Google since retiring over 6 years ago. It was the default search engine at my work. It looks like I won't be trying it again.

He and his son addressed the issue, which I saw last night. He thought it was some sort of glitch, not a conspiracy. He also said the obvious, YouTube is a business just like his Hickock45 is a business. They are under no compulsion to host Hickock and he is in no compulsion to put on the show. He apparently got a LOT of support from emails, and this could have been a factor, or could not. He still doesn't know, or didn't say why he was offline. He said that YouTube reviewed the issues and said he was in compliance with YouTube policy.

He doesn't know, I don't know, and possibly, YouTube doesn't know.

I watched that vid as well. I tend to think he was just being polite and trying not to make any waves. In my personal opinion, I doubt it was a "glitch" and I think he knows that as well "off the record." I believe it was Google's anti-gun stance and their testing the waters of censorship on a very popular shooting channel. Apparently, Google received thousands of email, mine included, as to why his show was terminated. I think they realized they screwed up and didn't want any negative publicity, bowed in to pressure and then reinstated the show.

It's not "equal access for everyone." Otherwise, you'd see YouTube littered with kiddie porn and other objectionable data. I'm definitely not a conspiracy tinfoil hat wearing guy; life's way too complicated for simple answers. Some will apply paranoia to every action, but that's a personal problem rather than a systematic problem. Regardless of why it went down, it didn't stay down for long. If YouTube is so anti-gun, why do they host Hickock45 in the first place?

I'm not suggesting he's lying but rather being tight lipped about his personal view points as a sign of respect to his sponsors, supporter's, and viewers. He strikes me as an extremely humble individual who doesn't want to stir the pot; he just wants to shoot his guns for all us fine folks.

I really like his gun reviews, and he has lots of sponsors, Bud's gun shop, various ammo suppliers, etc.....
His unwaxed gun reviews are on the money.

Well it is not paranoia, if everyone really is out to get you ! lol....

Perhaps terms of service accusations can get an account terminated until proven otherwise, same thing when you are a LEO, you can get modified / suspended pending a full investigation, once exonerated, you are restored to full duty.
