Motel 6 Exit 14 SE Shoot information:

TeachTeach Posts: 18,428 Senior Member
I dropped in at our favorite SE Shoot hangout today and arranged for a group rate. Here's the details:

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, May 27,28, and 29th., the rate for a double-occupancy room will be $54.99 plus tax. Call direct to the motel to get this rate, and mention the Southeast Shoot.

No, Mr. Patel isn't there anymore, so I don't know if waffles will still be available!

Let the fun begin!

When I made our reservation a while back the lady had an Asian accent. Was very polite sent my confirmation number while we were still on the phone.

How do the prices compare? It might be a good idea to call back and see if they will make an adjustment.

From when I made reservation a month ago, your rate is 5 bucks a night less.

I wonder if the new owners will get the pool functional? Patel said it was too expensive to bring up to code and operate so he always told people that it was temporarily under repair.

There's a "pool closed" sign posted- - - -but then it's the middle of February! Maybe things will change by May! The Polar Bear club isn't very active around these parts!

Just got off the phone with them. Made the reservation and a lady took the info. Got confirmation #, too.

Same thing happened at a place we stay in Ky when we go Jeep riding. Codes changed and they had to make the pool handicap accessible. It was going to cost him between 40 and 50 thousand to do it. He said it wasn't worth it so he leaves a pool closed sign out even though it's open.

Why bother with a pool when there's a nice creek just down the road? Leeches, snapping turtles, and lost fishing lures are provided free of charge! Swimsuits optional!

Hey Gang, I hope I am not circling the drain, after my accident it has left me in a fog.

I hope I could make the next S.E. shoot however given how I feel, who knows.

No exit 14 is one exit north of the big chicken.

Clean and I will probably go to the big chicken or the exit north of 14 to Mac Donnalds or that fancier place across the st from mac Ds

There is a strip joint or something next to the one by the big chicken.

Does this joint have coffeemakers in the rooms? If not how about a microwave and I'll do water and coffee-bags. If not, then I'll bring a small maker one along.

Most of them have coffee makers, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Free morning coffee, probably in the lobby.

Picture of the rooms shows a microwave.

never seen a motel 6 with a coffee maker. thats a super 8, best western and higher up motel thing.
it also may be full during this time period. i looked online and there was only 1 room available...non-smoking.
i wanted to get a room for a couple of days...oh well.
