One of our Officers went down last night

Responding to a domestic dispute turned murder. Shooter ambushed the first three LEOs to arrive, one of whom - on her first shift with the County - died of her injuries. He was arrested and will face our Commonwealth's Attorney, who has filed a bunch of felony charges, including 1D. And we still have the death penalty here.

I saw that. Awful situation. They said she had been a former officer and it was her first night back on the job. Local FLA SDs/PDs are even showing solidarity and posting on their websites about the loss.

An officer was killed in Fargo earlier this month on a domestic call also, The only other Fargo officer killed in the line of duty was Frederick Alderman who was shot to death July 5, 1882.

To add insult to injury, the guy was assigned to the Pentagon which means that he had some level of security clearance. Yet another nutjob that somehow "fell through the cracks".
