I can't help but point this out (remember, I'm oldern' dirt now, so be gentle)!

Second only to fingerprints the most physically identifying characteristic that a person has is his EARS! The shape, profile, will be different with everyone of us. On the news this morning is the story about a 95 year old German SS medic going on trial for war crimes at the concentration camps during WWII. Photos are posted....go look the news up and take a look at his pictures! This points out exactly what I'm saying! Look at the profile photos, and look at his ears. This marks him totally, and he would be instantly recognized, in a crowd, simply by his ear profile! Back in my Navy days it was pounded into us NEVER to allow someone to photograph you showing the profile of your face! This is the reason.....positive identification based on your ear profile!

So remember this if things get rough and you need to keep a low profile :jester:!

Reminds me of a fictional character created by Larry McMurtry called the ear steeler. An Indian can't remember the tribe, cut folks ears off in their sleep. LM has very entertaining sence of humor.

Sounds like a good reason to grow your hair out to cover your ears. With the new facial ID software even if you're wearing a fake beard and 'stache, they can pick you out. Maybe paper bags with eye holes will come back in style. :tooth:

I hear ya on the ear hair. Mine will be fine and it seems like in 3 days an inch long black wiry hair will sprout.

Well, youare getting up there in years now...what are you, like 35, maybe 36?


The ear/nose hair doesn't bother me all that much, but the other day, while getting a haircut...the cute young lady trimming my glorious mane offered to also trim my eyebrows.

On a positive note, keeping the 'brows neat and tidy makes your eyes look bigger.

Or something like that.
