Youngest requested a turkey dinner, soooooo...on tuesday, had him pull a 12.9 pound turkey out of the freezer to thaw.
He spent most of today making stuffing, mashed taters, peeling and chopping veggies, basting turkey (first time he or I ever did a full bird; we've done just a breast before), and making rolls. I pretty much jut supervised and was curious of the end result, gave the wife the day off.

Well...I don't think I ever had a better, juicier more filling turkey dinner before...Alice's restaurant...look out! The 10 year old rocked the house!
