Was Toxic now it is Optically or Optics referring to the tape of Trump's campaign manager grabbing a reporter who got too close to him (as said on TV if the SS had done the restraint, nothing would have been said, but that is a different story...)

Yeah, that has been one used in the biz world for a few years. I stead if saying 'that looks bad', you hear 'that's poor optics' or 'the optics don't work...'

Its a way to be captain obvious and still sound smart. Unless you are completely jaded to bull squeeze, and everyone using buzzwords sounds like a moron

    Meh.

Seems the word Visually or Visual (depiction) would work better in the description of a video or how bad/good it looks to a viewer.

Besides Optics is scopes just go to a Internet site see what comes up under Optics search..........but what do I know..........

I hate "metrics", especially when referring to something that is not measurable. Optics has become annoying also.

"Optics" has the same stupid feel as "Paradigm shift". A paradigm shift just means that the pattern has shifted from the old normal pattern. Sounds all techie to use those words that don't exactly fit, but make you sound smarter than you are. :roll2:

I had to give a presentation on Metrics at a DAU (Defense Acquisition University) class in Huntsville to get Level III Certified in Life Cycle Logistics, a requirement for my pay grade. All history now since I'm R&R (Retired & ****). :tooth:

Too close? How close is too close for a reporter?

Did she lay hands on him? Did she excite the Secret Service to respond to a threat to Trump's person? The pathetic attempts to make Trump somehow sound like a victim in this situation would be funny if he weren't running for the Republican nomination.

What a turd is Trump. What an ass is his campaign manager.

Exactly. How this should have gone down is the Mea culpas come out immediately. His default position is to point fingers, name call and slander. Chances are better than even that she was doing exactly what they say she was, but you still apologize because the dude had no business putting hands on her.

No matter how you approach this, there is no good side. The optics are just bad...
