    Yeah, the big difference in the .308 and the .30-06 doesn't even raise its ugly head until you put 180 or 200 grain bullets with 55+ grains of slow burning propellant behind them. Then the recoil comes out of the closet. But with 150-165 Grain bullets the .30-06 is usually a putty tat!!!
