Fried chicken breast, on a bed of cheesy grits, covered with Tasso ham gravy.........with sides of mac & cheese and collard greens. :drool2:

    My wife made buffalo chicken sliders and a spinach salad with sunflower seeds, slivered almonds, dried cranberries and a decent blue cheese. Along with a Redhook brewing Summerhook in a frosted glass.

    Real chicken fried steak smothered in white gravy, mashed potatoes and white gravy, pinto beans, whole kernel corn and a buttered roll.

    Sad to say, it was more than I could eat. Glad to say, leftovers are looking pretty darn good today.

    Bacon and eggs, toast and coffee. I missed breakfast and lunch, and had to fend for myself. It takes 5 minutes to nuke 4 thick strips of bacon, and I can fry the eggs over-easy, toast the bread and brew one cup of coffee by the time it gets done. Easiest home cooked meal there is, for me, and I love it. Bacon is the only meat I know of that actually tastes better when cooked in a microwave.

    Unless you're in Bowling Green, KY or Hilton Head Island, SC..........you're outta luck. It was at the Steamer's Seafood, in Bowling Green.

    We were over on BigAl's side of PC looking at rentals, so we tried some enchiladas at a Mexican place over there............... Not very good.

    I had Fried Popcorn Shrimp Salad from the local Seafood Joint here. Excellent.

    Popcorn Shrimp Salad is manna from heaven. Actually they aren't always popcorn shrimp. These were about twice the size of regular popcorn shrimp. Just right. and served on a bed of tossed salad, sliced boiled eggs, and grated cheese. So Fine Baby, So fine!

    While us Texans differ with y'all mountain type people in that y'all prefer pork BBQ, when it comes to ribs we's here in Texas prefers Pork Ribs.
