There must be a lot of money to be made helping people sign up for Medicare

I'll turn 65 in September, and there's hardly a day go by that I don't get a phone call or mail from someone trying to help me sign up for Medicare. I throw the mail in the trash, unread, and hang up on most callers. When I do talk to someone, I explain I still work and get insurance benefits through my employer. Today, I was even asked if I plan to retire in the next year. When I told he caller I planned to work another 5-6 years, he agreed it was probably a good idea and wished me well.
Is anyone else plagued with all this nonsense? All I can figure is that signing people up for Medicare must pay pretty darn good.

I guess honest work is hard ta find.
For Medicare or AARP? From what I can tell, it's standard practice for AARP to try to enroll people in AARP as soon as they turn 50. You won't be eligible for Medicare until you turn 65.

I'd rather have my sister work in a whorehouse than own another Taurus!
Ned standing there holding Cleans sweater while CPJ is curled up in the fetal position at Cleans feet should make a good Christmas card.
