Hmmmm- - - - -it's entirely possible these idiots are the very best qualified examples of their constituency. There have to be a huge number of low-information voters involved in electing them- - - - -repeatedly! I guess it really is possible to fool a huge number of the people all of the time!

I would be all for this IF! and only if, they would make the no fly list legit. It's an unconstitutional nightmare the way it is now. There's no due process involved. Somebody issues a complaint on you and some judge puts you on it. Then once you are on it there is no way of getting off. How can this be in the great United States of America? This needs attention. This makes no sense. People get off the terror watch list but can't get off the no fly list? In fact, Some people go back in forth on and off the Terror list. If there's a list for terror I would rather see people that are on it never get off. But some people have gotten put on the no fly list for nothing except an angry ex wife filed charges on a man. Again, no due process, just arbitrarily stuck on it. And also, the terror watch list needs to be set up the same way with a similar set of rules and requiring due process to get on and off.

Yeah, morons like this are what makes things like the No Fly List what it is. They want to make the rules up as they go along with no regard for our Constitutional rights.

Given, most people on the no fly list most likely did something to earn that status, but people (scum and all) are supposed to have rights. They want to take away people's rights! They all seem to be all for democracy only as long as things go their way. And pitch a fit when they don't get their way. And those secret lists they want are as unAmerican as it gets. Star Chamber and Minority Report stuff. Nope, not in America.

And it was a Muslim terrorist that murdered the people. The rifle and pistol he used were the tools he used to accomplish that. How about doing something about Muslim terrorists and leave us the guns to defend ourselves from them? Makes more sense, to me.

It's such a simple concept. When a drunk driver wipes out a family, we don't blame the car and try to ban it; we blame the drunk driver and prosecute him as the law allows.

Happened back in 2008 on the other side of the aisle. A Republican sponsored bill on expansion of oil drilling (remember "drill baby drill!"?) and oil refineries...Dems didn't let the bill come to the floor. They had the votes to quash the bill, but didn't care to do it in such a public fashion, so they voted to recess instead of hear the bill. At that time the Dems got up, packed their stuff and left the building...but not before instructing the Sargent at Arms to remove any members of the media that hadn't already done so, as well as shutting down the live-feed (CSPAN?) video so that whatever was actually discussed would never be seen by any more than those who could assemble in the viewing gallery.
