    Yep, I'm not scared of electricity, but have a deep respect for it. Freddy Kilowatt will ZAP you dead if you are careless around it.

    And it don't take much "I" (Current) expressed in Amps to do it.

    FWIW, you can kill yourself with a 1 1/2V D-cell battery and a couple of hard copper straight pins. It isn't the voltage, AC or DC, it's the current.

    When I was teaching middle school science I always told the students that Voltage is how far electricity will reach out to touch you and Amperage is how hard it will shake you when it does.

    That guy ran into plenty of both.
