While I give this guy big props ... he has some big-time background and training. Gut shoot the 1st and almost stand on 2nd guy's head!

Good technique- - - -turn a little sideways to hide his draw, then don't hesitate, just draw and fire! Was he doing that while the second scumbag had him at gunpoint? Definitely poor victim selection on the part of the thugs!

I couldn't tell if the bad guys had guns or were just trying to muscle the shooter. If the latter, the shooter may be in legal trouble.

Gun control laws make about as much sense as taking ex-lax to cure a cough.

Agreed. However in the video you can see the second guy hold him off at arms length and has his hand in his right pocket like he has a gun. It is only after he pushes him off at arms length and appears to threaten him that he draws and shoots. I would call this being reasonably in fear of one's life. The second thug didn't get a dose of lead, which also appears appropriate because he doesn't have a gun that I can see.

Sucks to be in it, but I think he did right.

Was that the second guy's gun that the good guy picked up and later threw down? I'm guessing it must not have been, because he pushed the first thug down on top of it. The good guy looked like he was too smart to do something like that.

Not if it would have been in Texas. But I thought the BGs had guns.

After looking at it a couple more times I'm almost sure that's a gun.
