RIP Gene Wider! I've had many side aches watching your movies!
Refusing to conform to the left wing mantra of political correctness by insisting on telling the truth does not make you a loud mouth.

    RIP Mr. Wilder.

I didn't realize he was that old.

I mostly don't give a damn about these RIP threads.

Unfortunately, I kinda liked this guy.

A very talented actor and comedian who stuck to what he knew and didn't demand attention for his political views or a screwed up personal life. I liked him and I'm sorry he's gone.

The producers. Broke the son in on off the wall comedy with that one.

He could compliment other talent and then the next minute steal the show. I loved this guy more than any comedian I can think of. Well maybe Steve Martin and Martin Short. If you're seeing a pattern here, all those guys kept their nose clean and their mouth shut about politics and didn't live a stupid life style. I remember when his wife, Gilda Radner died, we were all feeling so sorry for him, because you just knew he loved her so much. I think that threw water on his fire.

RIP Funny Man, you made an impression on us.

Agreed. He was clever and mastered the timing required for good sattire delivery.

I appreciated that he stayed out of the circus media and lived his life as a private person.

Wilder was drafted into the Army in the mid 1950s and was trained as a medic and paramedic. Makes his role as Young Frankenstein better; he knew the tools!
